IMPORTANT NOTE: Because of continued global pandemic of Covid-19 the training will be conducted online.
The course teaches basic skills for coding in Matlab and DYNARE, a macroeconomic modelling toolbox. The participants will learn practical tricks and tips for coding macroeconomic models, using them for quantitative simulations and forecasting.
Participants will learn:
- write macroeconomic model scripts,
- design and simulate complex mcroeconomic scenarios,
- construct unconditional and conditional and forecasts.
The course is designed for beginer users of Matlab/DYNARE or users who wishe to brushup their skills.
Training delivery is virtual (via Zoom). A total of 6 hours of instructions; distributed over three sessions, each of 2 hours.
